Develop Full-Stack E-commerce Platform

Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to build a comprehensive e-commerce platform from the ground up. This platform will need to support a wide range of features, including product catalog management, secure payment processing, user account management, order tracking, and marketing integrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web development technologies and best practices, and will be able to work independently to deliver a high-quality, scalable solution.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the front-end and back-end architecture of the e-commerce platform.
• Implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Develop RESTful APIs for communication between the front-end and back-end.
• Design and implement a relational database schema to store product, user, and order data.
• Integrate with third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
• Implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Deploy and maintain the application on a cloud-based platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento.
• Experience with search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
